So nice of Obama to take time out of his busy campaign to be included in a side hug. I bet all the politicians could use a side hug about now. So where did you find 12 people? Did you put up a sign “Will give Skittles for a side hug” sign?

I was wondering how that went. Honestly though, ya’ll don’t look very “huggy”, maybe more leg drops are in order to help get everyone in the spirit of it.

if you factor in some ministry math, like adding in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit with every person, you will get a side hug with 52 people! that’s like almost 100 people right there!

Jon – It was great being part of the first ever recorded side hug. My apologies for making you appear short. But keep in mind, I’m 8′ tall, and so that puts you at 6′ at least…I’m thinking.

At least the famous SCL shirts are together. Great to meet you and yes, you have a very lovely blog!

Anon at 7:43: hucklebuck is a photoshop ninja (did you see his purse weasel?) – so I am quite sure that he was responsible for the no-bama T shirt. On a separate matter, Jon, where is the unibrow?? In this and the video clip you quite clearly have 2 separate and distinct brows. (Or is this more photoshopping?!).

Man, I meant to come by but was completely overwhelmed by the 12,000+ people with their spiky hair, embellished blazers, and surprisingly cool Dave Ramsey t-shirts. I also forgot. Sorry.

I wanted to come side-hug as well, but realize that SCL are among those that Sr. Pastors monitor closely on road trips.

And did you seriously think a larger-than-life pic of a politician (any politician) emblazoned across your chest wouldn’t cause drama?

My bad on missing you at the SCLSH. I am horrible at planning things and should have realized that “the front of a really big building that may or may not be named an arena” was not the best way to ensure people could find the location.
